Jorge A. Garcia, MD, FACC, FAAP:
Dr. Garcia is a board certified pediatric
cardiologist since 1996. He received his medical degree from Universidad
Central Quito, Ecuador in 1985. His post-graduate activities include a
pediatric internship and residency at the University of Florida in
Jacksonville. He also completed a four-year pediatric cardiology fellowship at
the University of Texas, Children's Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Garcia's
last year of fellowship was dedicated to non-invasive cardiology including
fetal and transesophageal echocardiography. He is a Fellow of the American
College of Cardiology and American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a
member of the American Heart Association and American Society of
Echocardiography. Dr. Garcia has published a number of research papers in
peer review journals.
