Dr. Gorman will see children ages 2 and up.
Psycho-logical, neuropsychological evaluations and testing can be performed
in our office. Therapy is available for neuropsychological diagnosis.
Interactive metronome is also available for attention/concentration problems
and motor coordination difficulties.

We are located at the
intersection of Aloma Avenue and Lakemont Avenue in Winter Park near
Winter Park Hospital. We are on the southwest corner of the intersection
in the Washington Mutual Bank Building on the second floor.
Appointments can be made by
calling 407-644-7792 Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 9-3 and
Tuesdays between 12-4.
Patient hours are 9-4
Monday-Thursday. Testing days are Monday-Friday.

Dr. Patrick Gorman is a licensed psychologist, who specializes is
neuropsychology, with a subspecialty in brain injury rehabilitation. Dr.
Gorman’s clinical practice focuses on neuropsychological evaluation and
treatment of children and their families, who are affected by acquired brain
injuries or developmental disabilities, including ADHD, LDs, and Autism Spectrum
Disorders.
Dr. Gorman is board certified in rehabilitation
psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is a Fellow
in the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and a member in the International
Neuropsychological Society, and Divisions 40 (Neuropsychology) and 22
(Rehabilitation) of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Gorman holds a
position on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of Florida.
Additionally, he holds an adjunct faculty position at the Florida Institute of
Technology, where he teaches neuropsychological assessment in the APA approved
clinical psychology doctoral program. After completing his doctoral degree in
clinical psychology at the Florida Institute of Technology, Dr. Gorman completed
his internship at the Eastern Virginia Medical School, and his residency in
neuropsychology at the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center at Sand Lake Hospital
in the Orlando Regional Healthcare System.
Dr. Gorman actively pursues research in
neuropsychological assessment and cognitive rehabilitation, and has authored
several publications in professional journals and has made numerous
presentations to professional audiences nationally. |
