Christopher A.
Gegg, M.D. is an honors graduate from Nicholls State University with a
degree in biology. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State
University, after which he completed his neurosurgery residency at the
University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Gegg's
neurosurgical training culminated at the University of Texas-Southwestern,
where he completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery.
Dr. Gegg also has extensive experience in surgical
epilepsy/seizure management and his research interests have led him to speak and
publish internationally. Dr. Gegg is a Diplomate of the American Board of
Neurological Surgery, Board Certified.
Dr. Gegg is delighted to be able to maintain the exceptional level of
pediatric neurosurgical care offered by this practice and looks forward to
